Beef Massaman Curry (แกงมัสมั่นเนื้อ)


Ingredient


  • 400 g beef (cut into pieces).
  • Coconut milk 1/2 cup.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar.
  • Salt 1/2 tbsp.
  • Onion, 2 tomatoes (cut into medium size pieces).
  • 1 cup sweet potato (peeled and cut into large pieces).
  • Massaman curry paste 1 tbsp.
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind water.
  • 1 cinnamon stick.
  • Cashews 1/4 cup.
  • Cardamom 1 tsp.
  • Bay leaf 2 leaves (in addition to beef. Can put other meat such as chicken, lamb, etc.).


How do


  1. Bring coconut milk and Massaman curry paste to set on low heat. Stir until the spices begin to break it (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add beef and stir for another few minutes. Add enough water to flood the body.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients except it, onion and cashew. Boilers with low heat for another 40 minutes until soft.
  4. Put it, onion and cashew. And stew for another 30 minutes, if the boilers can add water to dry up. Then dip bowl. And Serve the hot with rice or roti dough sheet.
